Affiliate disclosure
SpillPop is free to read. To keep it that way, we plan to fund the site through advertising and, on some shopping-focused stories (for example, cast-style guides), through affiliate links.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer or platform. If you click one and make a purchase, SpillPop may earn a commission from the retailer, at no extra cost to you. Programs we may use include Amazon Associates, LTK and ShopMy, among others.
Our commitments
- Clearly labelled. Any story containing affiliate links will say so near the top of the page, before the first link, in line with US FTC guidance and UK ASA/CMA rules.
- Editorial independence. Our editors choose what to feature. Retailers and brands do not pay to be included, and commissions never change what we say about a product.
- No fake “as seen on”. When we say a cast member wore something, we’ll link to the source showing it, or say clearly when an item is a similar alternative.
Current status
As of the date above, SpillPop does not yet carry affiliate links. This page will be updated with the specific programs we join — including any program-specific statements they require — before affiliate links go live.
