Most cover images are original illustrations made in-house. Some covers and thumbnails use a cropped Wikimedia Commons photo instead; those are credited under the article cover and listed below. Inside articles we use two kinds of photo:

• Wikimedia Commons photos under free licences (public domain, CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA). We host resized copies and credit the photographer and licence under each image. Where a photo has been cropped, the credit says so.
• Getty Images embeds, shown through Getty's official embed viewer for editorial purposes. They're served by Getty and stay © the photographer/Getty Images.

Photos show people at public events and aren't from the shows themselves unless the caption says so. If you're the photographer or subject and something needs fixing, email [email protected].
