Spoiler warning: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 11.

Quick answer: Communication is proving to be one of the biggest tests for Sarah and John. The Boston couple are navigating disagreements about John’s temper and politics. John has acknowledged that the conversations viewers are seeing were edited for television, and both have emphasized that they were able to have meaningful discussions despite their differences.

Love may be blind, but communication is proving to be one of the biggest tests for Sarah and John in Love Is Blind Season 11.

The Boston couple have found themselves navigating some surprisingly serious disagreements, including John’s temper and their differing views on politics (Netflix Tudum). Where they stand after the episodes out so far is on our Season 11 couples tracker.

John’s temper

Sarah, a 34-year-old healthcare program manager, has expressed discomfort with some of John’s reactions during their relationship. One particularly intense moment came when John grew frustrated while paying an electric bill over the phone, with Sarah questioning whether his response showed the kind of communication style she wanted in a long-term partner.

Politics

Politics have also become part of the conversation. Sarah has said she supports abortion rights and vaccines, while John initially gave her reason to believe they might disagree on both issues. John later clarified his positions and said he supports a woman’s right to choose and is not anti-vaccine, pointing to his recent shingles vaccination (Us Weekly).

Not every disagreement is a deal-breaker

Interestingly, the couple haven’t portrayed every disagreement as a deal-breaker.

John has acknowledged that the conversations viewers are seeing were edited for television, while both have emphasized that they were able to have meaningful discussions despite their differences (Us Weekly).

That distinction could become important as Season 11 progresses. Love Is Blind isn’t simply testing whether couples can fall in love without seeing each other — it eventually tests whether that connection survives everyday disagreements.

And for Sarah and John, how they communicate when they disagree may ultimately matter more than whether they agree on everything.
