Quick answer: The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 reunion was filmed on Friday, October 2, 2026 in Los Angeles, with Andy Cohen and all eight Housewives (Bravo). Episode listings show it airing in two parts, on Thursday, November 5 and Thursday, November 12, in RHOC’s usual 8 p.m. ET slot on Bravo (Rotten Tomatoes; Wikipedia). Bravo itself hasn’t announced the reunion date yet, so treat those dates as listed rather than confirmed. “Mad Money” aired on October 22. One regular episode remains, on October 29.

Update, October 27: Is a cast shake-up coming for Season 21? Nothing’s confirmed. When a Radio Andy caller asked about a “refresh,” Andy Cohen said, “A refresh? Um, we love a refresh. We refresh everything,” and when she pushed for a full overhaul like RHONY’s: “We’ll see. We’ll see.” Tamra Judge has also told Entertainment Tonight she thinks “there needs to be a little bit of shake-up,” per Entertainment Now (October 26). Bravo hasn’t announced anything about Season 21.

RHOC turned 20 this summer, and Bravo marked it by giving the OG of the OC her orange back. Vicki Gunvalson returned full-time for the first time in years, a new Housewife arrived, and the season travelled from Las Vegas to Tokyo. Here’s what the reunion looks like, what’s still to air, and the storylines Andy will have to get through.

When is the RHOC Season 20 reunion?

Bravo’s own reunion explainer, published the day it was filmed, says fans “will have to stay tuned” for the air date (Bravo). Episode listings have since filled in the gaps. Rotten Tomatoes’ Season 20 page lists “Reunion Part 1” on November 5 and “Reunion Part 2” on November 12, and Wikipedia’s episode table, which cites Rotten Tomatoes and The Futon Critic, has the same two dates (Rotten Tomatoes; Wikipedia).

If those hold, it’s a slightly shorter reunion than recent years. Bravo announced a three-part reunion for both Season 18 (starting November 7, 2024) and Season 19 (starting November 6, 2025), according to The Futon Critic’s archive of Bravo press releases (The Futon Critic). Listings can change, so we’ll update this page as soon as Bravo confirms the dates and the number of parts.

Rotten Tomatoes carries a synopsis for “Mad Money”: Heather and Shannon “reunite and instantly find themselves at odds over loyalty and betrayal,” and Heather introduces a friend to the group, “only to find out a shocking truth behind who she really is” (Rotten Tomatoes). Bravo’s episode page is up, and the episode aired October 22 (Bravo). What Gina Kirschenheiter said afterwards about the spending questions is in her response to the cast. No synopsis has been published for Episode 17 yet.

The RHOC Season 20 reunion seating chart

Bravo posted the seating chart to Instagram on the day of filming (Bravo):

Andy’s left Andy’s right
Vicki Gunvalson Andy Cohen Tamra Judge
Shannon Storms Beador Heather Dubrow
Gina Kirschenheiter Jennifer Pedranti
Emily Simpson Carmella Garcia

Reunion seats usually follow seniority and the season’s alliances. This year, the season’s OG sits in the prime spot on one side and Tamra takes the other, which is neat symmetry for a season built around whether the two can be friends again.

Who’s at the reunion: the Season 20 cast

All eight Housewives sat down with Andy. Here’s how Bravo’s official season preview, as published by Advanced Television, sums up each of their storylines (Advanced Television):

  • Vicki Gunvalson, back full-time, is “happier than ever with her boyfriend Michael,” until the women learn “there’s a ring without a proposal.”
  • Shannon Storms Beador is “living the single life in Corona del Mar,” looking for a partner and getting her finances in order with Vicki’s help.
  • Heather Dubrow deals with her mother Carole’s move from New York to L.A., while her “dynamic with the women takes a turn.”
  • Tamra Judge, soon to be an empty-nester, sees her friendship with Shannon improve, then “calls out Vicki for a past comment about her parenting choices.”
  • Emily Simpson focuses on her health as she turns 50, while she and husband Shane “navigate the complexities of raising their family.”
  • Gina Kirschenheiter is newly engaged to longtime boyfriend Travis, with “several concerns” to think through before the wedding.
  • Jennifer Pedranti is building a future with fiancé Ryan and becomes the group’s peacemaker.
  • Carmella Garcia, the new Housewife, is a real estate broker and developer and “a busy mom of four.”

The storylines Andy has to cover

Here’s what Season 20 has aired so far, based on Bravo’s own episode descriptions and published recaps. We’re sticking to what the show has put on screen.

Vicki’s return, and Carmella

Andy announced at BravoCon 2025 that Vicki would return for Season 20, five years after she left. “I was so excited to give Vicki that orange back,” he said (Bravo). Vicki was a full-time cast member for 13 seasons, then took a “friend” role in Season 14 before leaving the show.

Her welcome for the newcomer was frosty from the trailer onwards. “I don’t like new girls,” Vicki says. Carmella, who Bravo describes as a former Playboy Playmate of the Year and WWE wrestler, points out that Vicki is “new too this year,” and later tells her, “Everything has an expiration” (Bravo). The synopsis for Episode 5 has Gina and Vicki questioning Carmella’s motives “around gifts and job opportunities,” after word spread about an “extravagant birthday gift” Carmella gave Emily (Rotten Tomatoes). Gina has already predicted that Vicki will spend most of the reunion in the hot seat: “She got herself into some hot water with Carmella” (Bravo).

The Tres Amigas, and Tamra’s confrontation in Tokyo

Vicki spent the early part of the season trying to reunite the Tres Amigas: herself, Tamra and Shannon. In the trailer, she describes being caught “in the middle of two really good friends for a long time” (Bravo). It’s been a stop-start effort. The synopsis for Episode 9 says Tamra and Shannon’s “rekindling comes to a halt” when Shannon sets a boundary and Tamra bails on their lunch (Rotten Tomatoes).

The biggest moment so far came in Tokyo. In Episode 15, “For Goodness Sake,” Jenn and Emily encourage Tamra to talk to Vicki “about comments made years ago,” and when Tamra’s emotions peak, Shannon is the one who comforts her, “bringing them closer” (Bravo). Bravo’s short summary puts it simply: “Old wounds resurface when Tamra Judge confronts Vicki Gunvalson about comments involving her daughter and parenting.” Vulture’s recap notes that Vicki says she has already apologised, but Tamra is still visibly upset about it (Vulture). With the two of them seated either side of Andy, expect him to go back over it.

Heather versus (almost) everyone

Heather knows where she’ll be sitting, figuratively. “You’re gonna say it’s me,” she told Bravo Insider in August. “I had issues with many people this season, not intentional.” Shannon agreed: “It’s Heather. Maybe Vicki number two” (Bravo).

The episode guide backs them up. In Las Vegas, Heather “is confronted with multiple complaints about her need for control.” Gina later “confronts Heather about doing real estate business with Carmella while talking behind her back,” and Emily questions Heather “over her true feelings about Carmella.” By Episode 12, Heather and Emily “work out their issues,” but Heather “continues to question their friendship” (Rotten Tomatoes). “Mad Money” puts her back at odds with Shannon, so the Heather portion of the reunion should be lively.

Vicki and Michael’s ring

One of the season’s running questions is whether Vicki and her boyfriend, Michael Smith, are really engaged. Bravo says not everyone believes their claim that he’s “had an engagement ring for the past year” (Bravo). On the La Quinta trip in Episode 10, the episode synopsis says Vicki “reaches a boiling point” after being pressed about her relationship, leaving Jenn and Emily to decide whether to stay (Rotten Tomatoes). We’re not aware of any announcement from the couple since, so don’t take any ring talk as news until they confirm it.

Gina, Emily and Shannon

Gina and Emily remain the show’s steadiest friendship. Bravo’s preview says Gina’s bond with Emily “has never been stronger,” even as Carmella tries to get close to Emily. Her engagement to Travis Mullen is one of the season’s threads, and Travis “surprises Gina” in Episode 11. Bravo’s preview also says the women “question her financial decision making” as her lifestyle levels up (Advanced Television; Rotten Tomatoes). After Episode 16, Gina told Bravo Insider that questioning how she spends her resources is “insulting” (what she said).

For Emily, Season 20 has been about her health at 50 and her marriage to Shane. In the trailer, she admits she might be “at [her] end” with him. That’s what aired. The couple haven’t announced a separation, and we won’t speculate (Bravo).

Shannon’s season has had a softer storyline too. In Episode 14, she becomes emotional as she recounts the moment her dog Archie had a seizure, and shares “what comes next for her beloved dog” (Rotten Tomatoes).

Jenn the peacemaker

Jennifer Pedranti brought Carmella into the group and spent the season trying to calm everyone down, including repairing relationships with Tamra. Bravo’s preview says the group grows “sceptical about the legitimacy” of a possible new career path Carmella offers her (Advanced Television). At the reunion she’s seated between Heather and Carmella.

How the cast prepared

Bravo rounded up the reunion prep: Tamra posted a new, shorter haircut on Instagram on September 26 (“Reunion ready”), and Shannon showed off a layered bob with side bangs a day later. Carmella said she wouldn’t be preparing “at all.” “I’m going to show up, have a couple of drinks, have a good time, deal with whatever needs to be dealt with, [and be] the truest version of myself,” she told Bravo Insider (Bravo).
