All seven Housewives are back from Season 6, which keeps the core of the group intact. Britani Bateman also returns as a friend. Ashley Quai is the newcomer; Bravo’s trailer introduces her “amid several friendship rifts in the group.”
What happens in Season 7?
Bravo’s official description:
“This season the ladies of SLC celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in San Francisco and get some much-needed sunshine in Hawaii. Though they agree to set aside their differences and come together, nothing in Salt Lake City lasts forever as enduring bonds are tested and surprising new relationships are formed.”
According to Bravo’s summary of the trailer (Bravo), the season covers:
- Marriages under strain. Bravo says Angie and Whitney “confront unexpected cracks in their marriages.”
- Bronwyn after her separation. Bronwyn “is still dealing with the aftermath of her marital separation,” which she first revealed at the Season 6 reunion.
- New romances. Bronwyn and Heather both have new boyfriends, though Bravo says “both budding romances still present their own challenges.”
- A group that rallies. Despite the friction, Bravo says the women “all come together to support Mary after the loss of her son.”
That last storyline is a real bereavement, and we won’t go beyond what Bravo and Mary have shared publicly.

Where did RHOSLC Season 6 leave off?
Season 6 ended with the cast trip to Greece and a play the women watched, inspired by how they saw each other. Bravo says the group then “tearfully discussed if a path forward was even possible amid several fractured friendships,” and Meredith and Lisa left together. Heather closed the episode by saying, “It’s you two versus the world” (Bravo).
At the three-part Season 6 reunion, Bronwyn revealed that she and Todd Bradley had separated after filming. Lisa, Meredith and Whitney addressed rumours about their own marriages, and the group went over its friendship drama one last time, including the unseen “airplane incident.” Bravo says the women left the reunion “more optimistic about their future as a group,” and Angie’s closing toast was: “Cheers to another great year, stronger friendships, and … the Sisters of Salt are nothing without each other.”
