The short version: Eight Bravo Housewives will make their Off-Broadway debuts in two back-to-back casts of Neil Simon’s Rumors, directed by Zhailon Levingston at the Newman Mills Theater at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space. Previews start January 9, 2027, and it opens January 25 (Deadline; People).
The casts
| Dates | Cast |
|---|---|
| January 9 to February 28, 2027 | Lisa Rinna, Phaedra Parks, Stacey Rusch, Dolores Catania |
| March 2 to April 21, 2027 | Cynthia Bailey, Eileen Davidson, Carole Radziwill, Candiace Dillard-Bassett |
Who plays who
Per People, Rinna and Bailey play Chris Gorman, Parks and Davidson play socialite Claire Ganz, Rusch and Radziwill play TV chef Cookie Cusack, and Catania and Dillard-Bassett play Cassie Cooper. The husbands will be cast later.
It’s a New York stage debut for everyone except Rinna, who played Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago in 2007. Tickets start at $79.
The plan
Rumors first opened on Broadway in 1988: four couples arrive at a dinner party to find the host apparently shot in the earlobe and his wife missing. Levingston says he won’t change “a single word,” but wants to show “the delicious chaos that unfolds when private lives become public spectacle.”
Every franchise lives on our Real Housewives hub.
