Spoilers for the final of The Celebrity Traitors series 2, which aired on Friday 30 October 2026 on BBC One and iPlayer.

The short version: Comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian “Bash” Croft won as Faithfuls. Traitor Maya Jama was banished at the final round table, with fellow Traitor King Kenny voting against her. At the firepit, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, King Kenny and James Blunt were banished in that order, and the winners split £83,000 between their charities (BBC News; The Independent).

The final mission

Seven players reached the final, from the original 21 (BBC News). The last mission sent them hunting for two underground bunkers filled with gold in the Scottish Highlands. One team rode in a helicopter while the others drove buggies and answered questions to find the bunkers. Maya, Bash and Leigh-Anne hung off the side of the helicopter to drop the dynamite and detonator. Both bunkers were blown up, adding £18,500 and taking the pot to £83,000 (The Independent).

Kenny turns on Maya

At the final round table the players banished Maya, and her fellow Traitor King Kenny sealed her fate. Under the final’s rules she did not reveal her role as she left, telling the group: “Thank you, alright, love you all, good luck, you’re going to need it” (The Independent). BBC News said Kenny “shocked viewers” by turning on her (BBC News).

The firepit

Everyone chose to banish again in the first round, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock was voted out by all of her fellow players. In the second round, Romesh said he thought James Blunt was a Traitor. Blunt told him he was “entirely wrong”, but Kenny voted to end the game (RTÉ).

The vote then split two each between Blunt and Kenny, so Romesh and Bash voted again to break the tie. BBC News reports that Bash persuaded Romesh to banish Kenny rather than Blunt, which secured the win for the Faithfuls (BBC News).

Blunt then chose to banish again, even though Romesh said his talk with Bash had changed his mind about him. Romesh and Bash both voted Blunt out, and the singer said Romesh had “left a question mark in my head” (The Independent).

The winners

“I began this game as a Faithful, but I’m ending this game as a Faithful,” Bash told Romesh as they revealed themselves. Each won £41,500 for charity: Romesh for the Refugee Council and Bash for Choose Love (RTÉ).

Bash told the BBC that he made a list of everything James, Romesh and Kenny had done that looked Faithful. Kenny’s list was “almost non-existent”, and when Kenny voted to end the game at four, “I just knew he was a Traitor.” Romesh admitted his weak spot was “identifying Traitors correctly” (BBC Media Centre).

On his Radio 2 show the next morning, Romesh said he probably wouldn’t have won without Bash talking him into banishing Kenny. BBC News reports the final averaged 11.2 million live viewers, before iPlayer catch-up (BBC News).

Last series, Alan Carr won as a Traitor. See every Traitors winner in the US and UK.
