Spoilers for Survivor 51 episode 6, “I Love Crying,” which aired Wednesday, October 28 on CBS.
The short version: Savu lost immunity on the puzzle, so Ori, Jelly and Devin went to a three-person Tribal. Jelly had an idol, Ori’s Shot in the Dark came back “Not Safe,” and Ori Jean-Charles was voted out as the last player before the merge (TVLine).
Savu turns on itself
The helicopter alliance survived last week by cutting Alexis. This week there was nobody else left to vote. Back at camp, Ori tried to get Jelly and Devin to target each other. Devin suggested they all just play their Shots in the Dark and let fate decide, and then Jelly revealed her immunity idol, which more or less took her name off the table.
At Tribal, Ori rolled the dice on his Shot in the Dark. The scroll read “NOT SAFE,” and Jelly and Devin reluctantly voted him out. TVLine wonders whether siding with his Day 1 ally Alexis last week might have saved him.
A summit and a tethered idol
Ori, Sharonda and Kristin went on a boat-trip “summit.” Ori and Sharonda brought ribs and corn back to their tribes, while Kristin went to Exile Island with a tethered idol she can play only on Ori or Sharonda. If either of them is voted out, it becomes a full idol. With Ori gone, that clause now matters.
Elsewhere
On Dina, Eric called Kilby’s move on Linnea the “biggest betrayal I have ever felt.” On Toka, Brady and Maggie clashed over a sack swing versus finding food, and Mike told producers he is ready to flip to the original Savu.
What’s next
The merge arrives next week. Cast details and how to watch are in our Survivor 51 guide, and everything else is on the Survivor hub.
