Spoilers for the final of The Celebrity Traitors series 2 (BBC One and iPlayer, Friday 30 October 2026).

The short version: Several big names weren’t at the live Uncloaked special after the final, including Traitors Maya Jama and James Acaster. The BBC says the final averaged 11.2 million live viewers. And on Romesh Ranganathan’s Radio 2 show the next morning, the winners talked it all through, while King Kenny joked that Maya has “blocked me on everything” (BBC News; Mirror).

Faithfuls Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian “Bash” Croft won and split £83,000 for their charities. For every twist from the final itself, read our Celebrity Traitors final recap. This piece is about what happened after.

Uncloaked: who was missing

The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked went out live on BBC One at 9:20pm, straight after the final. Host Ed Gamble was joined by Claudia Winkleman, the finalists and a studio audience to react to the endgame (BBC Media Centre; BBC Programmes).

Not everyone made it. BBC News confirmed that James Acaster did not take part (BBC News). The Mirror reports that Maya Jama wasn’t there either. Michael Sheen wasn’t in the studio but appeared in a video message, and Jerry Hall and Rob Beckett also weren’t there. Joanne McNally sent her apologies because she’s on a comedy tour in America (Mirror).

According to the Mirror, it’s understood the missing stars had work commitments booked already, and Maya has been filming the second series of Netflix’s The Gentlemen.

11.2 million live viewers

The BBC says the final averaged 11.2 million live viewers, and that will rise once iPlayer catch-up is counted. Other recent episodes have been watched by more than 15 million including catch-up (BBC News).

The morning after on Radio 2

Bash joined Romesh on his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday morning. Romesh opened with: “Last night, I don’t know if you’re aware, was the finale of The Celebrity Traitors and I won.”

He said he was “delighted to win”, but admitted he probably wouldn’t have won without Bash talking him into banishing King Kenny. “It’s taken the gloss off it slightly that everybody’s saying, ‘you better thank [Croft] every day for the rest of your life’,” he joked (BBC News).

Bash said the pair had been worried about being seen together before the final, and that he woke up on Saturday “with a light sense that I don’t have to keep the secret anymore. It’s been killing me.” On his endgame thinking he said: “What you’re trying to do isn’t find a traitor, it’s trying to get rid of everyone who isn’t the most faithful.”

Kenny on Maya

Asked whether he’d spoken to Maya since he voted against her at the final round table, Kenny joked: “She’s blocked me on everything.” He then said he’d warned her: “I already told her that I was going to vote for her and she knew potentially that could be coming” (BBC News).

He also said he “should have had a better plan for the final”, and that “lying to people for that long is insane”.

Leigh-Anne’s helicopter moment

Romesh also asked finalist Leigh-Anne Pinnock about doing the challenges while pregnant. In the final she was seen hanging off the side of a helicopter. “I’m just super proud of myself,” she said. “It’s kind of just shown me that I really can do anything I put my mind to.”
