The Traitors: New Blood: Who Has Been Murdered and Banished So Far, and Who Are the Traitors?

Four Round Tables, four wrong answers. Here's every exit from Alan Cumming's first all-civilian castle, the Traitor trio, and what's coming next.

Spoiler warning: this page covers The Traitors: New Blood up to and including Episode 6 (Thursday, October 15, 2026). For dates and streaming info without spoilers, see our New Blood and Season 6 viewing guide.

The short answer: After six episodes, eight of the 22 players are out, and all eight were Faithful. Murdered: Kim Daily, Xavier Scruggs, Logan Smith and Niyyah Bilal Hayes. Banished: Madeline Kostopulos, Arisa Thomas, Sherry Kuehl and Michael Foote. The Traitors are Tomica Adams, Joe Vanella and Katie Fites, and none of them has been caught yet (NBC Insider; TODAY).

New Blood is the US franchise’s first season without celebrities. Twenty-two everyday Americans entered the castle with host Alan Cumming, playing for up to $250,000 (Time Out), and NBC promised format twists to throw off players who’d studied earlier seasons (NBC Insider). So far, the twists are working. The Faithful have voted out one of their own at every Round Table.

Who are the Traitors?

Traitor Day job (per NBC) How they got the cloak
Tomica Adams Pilot Chosen by Alan in the premiere
Joe Vanella Funeral director Chosen by Alan in the premiere
Katie Fites Marketing manager Won the recruitment test in Episode 3

Alan shook up the turret on night one. Instead of a straight recruitment, Tomica and Joe had to choose two “Accomplices,” Xavier Scruggs and Katie Fites, and watch them compete for one Traitor seat by completing secret tasks (NBC Insider). Both pulled it off: the task was to take a blank death warrant from one of the castle books without being spotted. The Traitors picked Katie, which meant Xavier was “murdered” on the spot (TVLine).

Kim Daily: murdered (Episode 1)

Alan opened the season with a surprise: a murder on the very first night. The Accomplices’ first task was to murder lawyer Kim Daily themselves. They put her in a coffin on a boat and cut it loose from the dock. Kim had told the other players she was a basketball coach rather than a lawyer, hoping to avoid any bias against her. Tomica and Joe said her smarts spooked them (NBC Insider).

Madeline Kostopulos: banished (Episode 2)

Straight after breakfast, Alan sent the remaining 21 players into a surprise Round Table. The table first turned on Victor Vollbrechthausen for sprinting after a Shield in the first mission. Then Kriste Lewis said she’d heard Madeline say “I shouldn’t have picked Kim.” Madeline said she’d actually said “wouldn’t,” but the table followed Kriste, and Madeline left as a Faithful (NBC Insider).

Xavier Scruggs: murdered (Episode 3)

Xavier, a Major League Baseball analyst, completed the Accomplice test, but Tomica and Joe worried he was already playing for himself, since he had floated Katie’s name to the Faithful as a possible Traitor. Katie got the seat and Xavier was sent home (NBC Insider).

Arisa Thomas: banished (Episodes 3–4)

Arisa stayed behind looking for a Shield during the crypt mission, and the Faithful quickly accused her of hiding one. Then Michael Foote and Ben McDonnell shared a crypt clue: a new Traitor had been working to get recruited in plain sight the night before. Players connected it to a hand-grab “trust test” she had done with Victor in the premiere. The table banished her, and she left with a long side-eye after confirming she was Faithful (NBC Insider).

Logan Smith: murdered (Episode 4)

After Arisa’s banishment, Tomica, Joe and Katie met in the turret as a trio for the first time. Realtor Logan Smith had locked on to Katie at the Round Table. The new trio weighed up Abby Lee, Mark Zgoda and Logan, and decided Logan was too perceptive to keep around, even though killing him risked drawing more attention to Katie (NBC Insider). “Maybe I got close,” he said in his last moments on camera (TVLine).

Sherry Kuehl: banished (Episode 5)

Author Sherry Kuehl had played quietly. That changed at the Round Table, when Abby Lee said she’d heard Sherry mention “three Traitors,” and Sherry tore into Jay Vinnedge as a “detriment” to the Faithful. The sudden shift looked suspicious to the table (NBC Insider). Jay included, the majority voted her out, and she was Faithful. Her parting message: the Faithful need to do better (NBC Insider).

Niyyah Bilal Hayes: murdered in plain sight (Episodes 5–6)

Episode 5 gave the Traitors a timed murder in plain sight: hand a “poisoned” apple to a shortlisted player. Joe’s first attempt, on Morgan Cook, failed, and he was seen eating an apple. Tomica was seen offering fruit around the kitchen. The episode ended before the victim was revealed (TODAY).

Episode 6 named her. Alan buried the shortlisted players alive two to a coffin, and Joe, paired with Niyyah, told her in real time that he was the reason she was leaving the game. NBC calls it a first for the show (NBC Insider). “I’m not gonna come back,” she whispered. In her final confessional she added: “It just really sucks that that was the end for me” (TODAY).

Michael Foote: banished (Episode 6)

Victor was convinced he’d caught Tomica and Joe in the act. NBC’s recap calls it “Fruitgate.” Most of the table didn’t buy it, though. Katie steered suspicion toward Michael, and his close allies Clyde Moser and Ben McDonnell turned on him too. Michael, a criminal defense lawyer, was banished after a split vote. He opened his reveal with “I am the only person in this castle who knows exactly how to get away with murder,” then finished: “Everyone who voted for me tonight, I’ll see you in court. Because I’m a Faithful” (TODAY; NBC Insider).
