Quick answer: Single’s Inferno Season 6 is officially happening. Netflix confirmed it on February 11, 2026, the day after the Season 5 finale. As of October 19, 2026, Netflix hasn’t announced a release date or cast. Applications closed on April 15, 2026. All five Seasons 1 to 5 premiered in December or January, but Netflix hasn’t said whether Season 6 will follow that pattern. When it arrives, it will stream on Netflix in the US and the UK (Netflix; Korea JoongAng Daily; StarNews).
Some dating shows burn out after a season or two. Single’s Inferno keeps getting hotter. Netflix calls the series its “longest-running” Korean unscripted title, and the first one to reach a sixth season in Korea (Netflix). If Season 5’s love triangles, its record cast and that six-part reunion left you wanting more, here’s everything that’s actually confirmed about Season 6.
Is Single’s Inferno renewed for Season 6?
Yes. On February 11, 2026, Netflix announced that “production is officially confirmed for Season 6.” Producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun and Park Su-ji, the team behind Season 5 and Netflix’s Nineteen to Twenty, said: “Thanks to our fans’ unwavering love, we’re thrilled to return with an even hotter season of Single’s Inferno. We’ll continue listening closely to your feedback to make the show as exciting as ever” (Netflix; Netflix Tudum).
The show has been a chart regular from the start. According to Netflix, Season 1 was the first Korean unscripted series to make its global Top 10 for non-English TV. Season 3 stayed in the Top 10 charts for five weeks across 31 countries, Season 4 “garnered the highest watch hours in its premiere week”, and Season 5 reached No. 2 on the global non-English TV list (Netflix). Korea JoongAng Daily adds that Season 2 held a Top 10 spot for four weeks running (Korea JoongAng Daily).
When is Single’s Inferno Season 6 coming out?
There’s no release date yet. Netflix’s renewal announcement ended with “stay tuned for more updates,” and as of October 19, 2026 it hasn’t named a date or a month.
What we do have is the show’s track record. Every season so far has premiered in December or January:
| Season | Premiere | Final episode |
|---|---|---|
| Season 1 | December 18, 2021 | January 8, 2022 |
| Season 2 | December 13, 2022 | January 10, 2023 |
| Season 3 | December 12, 2023 | January 9, 2024 |
| Season 4 | January 14, 2025 | February 11, 2025 |
| Season 5 | January 20, 2026 | February 10, 2026 (reunion February 14) |
Sources: Wikipedia, which cites Netflix and Korean outlets for each date.
TV Insider and other outlets have suggested January or February 2027, based on that pattern (TV Insider). That’s an educated guess, though, not a Netflix announcement. We’ll update this page as soon as there’s an official date.
Who is in the Single’s Inferno Season 6 cast?
The cast hasn’t been revealed. Netflix opened applications through Netflix Korea’s Instagram in March 2026, and the deadline was April 15, 2026. The casting post cheekily borrowed Choi Mina Sue’s most quoted Season 5 line, asking whether you can leave the island with two men (StarNews).
Netflix usually introduces each new cast close to launch, through a trailer and a Tudum cast guide. For Season 5, Netflix revealed 15 singles, the biggest group yet, with what it called “more international contestants than ever before” (Netflix Tudum). Will Season 6 go bigger again? Netflix hasn’t said.
Some fan accounts and aggregator sites already list “confirmed” Season 6 contestants. We haven’t found any Netflix announcement to back them up, so treat those lists with caution.

Who hosts Single’s Inferno Season 6?
The panel is one of the show’s best features. Five hosts watch the footage in a studio and react to every flirt, fumble and Paradise date:
- Hong Jin-kyung, model, comedian and TV personality
- Lee Da-hee, actress (Beauty Inside)
- Kyuhyun, singer and Super Junior member
- Hanhae, rapper
- Dex, YouTuber and Season 2 contestant, on the panel since Season 3
Netflix’s renewal announcement names all five and promises their chemistry will “take another leap forward,” which points to the full panel returning (Netflix).
How does Single’s Inferno work?
If you’re new to the island, here’s the format. A group of singles is dropped on Inferno, a remote island with basic supplies. They can’t tell each other their age or job. To escape, two people have to choose each other, usually after a game or a secret vote, and win a night in Paradise, a luxury hotel where they can finally share personal details. New singles arrive mid-season to shake things up. On the last day, each man walks up to the woman he wants to leave with, and if she takes his hand, they leave as a couple (Wikipedia).
Recent seasons have played with the rules. Season 5 added the show’s first reunion series, Single’s Inferno Reunion, six episodes released on February 14, 2026 (NME). Netflix hasn’t said what twists Season 6 has planned.
What happened in Season 5?
Season 5 dropped in four weekly batches, from January 20 to February 10, 2026 (The Tab). Five couples left the island. By the reunion, only Lim Su-been and Park Hee-sun had confirmed they were dating, and Lee Joo-young and Kim Jae-jin said they were still seeing each other without a label. The other three pairs hadn’t continued. Where to watch Single’s Inferno in the US and UK
Single’s Inferno is a Netflix original, so every season streams on Netflix in both the US and the UK, along with Single’s Inferno Reunion. You can watch in Korean with English subtitles. Recent seasons have dropped in weekly batches rather than all at once. Season 5’s batches landed on Tuesdays at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET, which is 8 a.m. UK time (The Tab; Dexerto).
